Weekly Money Check-Up

Once again thank you to MMP...
1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on Korean BBQ, which was $20, unless you count paying bills and then it would be $400 on my Line of credit.
2. Today I feel impatient about money. My tax return hasn't come in despite asking it to be direct deposit and getting my stuff to the accountant 2 weeks ago, and I know the accountant has done them because I got my copy in the mail.
3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was I went to see my sister play hockey it as the quarter finals. It was a great game had us on edge the whole time!
4. I will consider this week a success if  I can get last week's 2 book cases catalogued, It will be an even greater success if I can get 4 done!
5. The last time I had a good nap was likely kindergarten or when I was last really sick. I don't nap otherwise I can't sleep the next night. The only time my body takes naps is when I am so sick my body decides to take a time out.

  1. Hi! $400 on your line of credit is awesome! Hope your refund comes in soon. Do you have plans for it?

Ya I have plans for it... lots... but I am going to hold off talking about it until the return comes in, that way I know for sure the amount that I am dealing with.

  3. Hi Sarah: I have often seen your comments on blogs that I also visit so stopped by to get to know you by reading your story from the beginning. You have a big job ahead of you but girl I like your style! Anyone who would support two feline children while attacking her debts with ferocity gets top marks in my book!
PS - I spent 14 years (9 full-time and 5 part-time) working for the Royal Bank. The part-time years were while I was going to university - they were kind enough to give me 4 hour shifts around my class schedule. It took me TEN years to pay off my student debt (gulp) @ $250 per month AND I was a single parent. It was quite the celebration when THAT debt was paid!
